Safety Drills & the Standard Response Protocol

Posted Date: 08/25/26 (09:14 AM)

At Sanford-Fritch ISD, we use the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) to help our students and staff know how to respond quickly and safely during a variety of situations. Practicing these procedures through age-appropriate safety drills helps ensure that everyone is prepared and knows what to do if an emergency occurs.

Students may come home talking about different terms or procedures they practiced during these drills. We have attached a couple of handouts to help explain the SRP and what your student may hear or discuss at school.

Thank you for partnering with us as we work together to keep our students and staff safe.
