Thank You & 2026–2027 Calendar Information

Dear Parents and Staff,

First, I want to thank everyone who was able to attend our 4-day week school presentation last night. The thoughtful questions and engagement from the audience were greatly appreciated.

For those who were unable to attend, I have attached the presentation so you can review the information and make an informed decision when it is time to vote on the 2026–2027 calendar preference. I have also included both the proposed traditional 5-day calendar and the proposed 4-day calendar for your reference.

Within the next week or so, I will send out a Google survey to staff and parents to gather your calendar preference. The survey results will be presented to the SFISD Board during the March 18 regular meeting, where the Board will vote on the official calendar.
