Dress Code and Cell Phones
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we return from break and move forward with the second semester, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support in helping our students represent SFISD with pride. Our goal is always to maintain a learning environment that is safe, positive, and free of distractions so all students can focus on learning and enjoying their time at school.
As a reminder, we ask that families review and support two important district expectations:
Cell Phones
Cell phones must be turned off and put away from the moment students enter the building until they exit at the end of the school day. Phones should not be visible or in use during the school day, including passing periods and lunch.
Consequences for cell phone violations are outlined in the district cell phone policy attached to this post.
Dress & Grooming Guidelines
Please take a few minutes to review the district’s Dress and Grooming Guidelines, which outline expectations for student attire and appearance. These include standards for clothing, accessories, and hair color that align with district policy.
Consequences for dress code violations are addressed through the district discipline matrix.
The full dress code is attached for your reference.
We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing these expectations at home and helping our students put their best foot forward each day. As always, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
Sincerely,
Kristi Brown
Principal - SFJH
